5 Infants branded with hot iron; hospitalised in Rayagada

Five kids were hospitalized on Wednesday in a critical condition after being branded with hot iron at Ramachandrapur village in Rayagada district.

The toddlers were treated by an unidentified wizard with some black magic powers and a hot iron rod by way of treatment for an ailment.

After iron branding, the health condition of the toddlers deteriorated and they were admitted to the district headquarter hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the doctors have kept a close eye on the condition of the kids by monitoring their health check up regularly.
