6 Senior IAS Officers Assigned To Have A Watch In Covid19 Containment Zones Of BMC

The rapid escalation of COVID19 cases in Odisha has prompted the government to take strict measures to check any further spread.

In view of this, the Odisha government has assigned 6 senior IAS officers in the containment zones in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation areas.

The IAS officers will supervise activities including sampling of primary & secondary contacts, contact tracing, household surveillance & supply of essentials.

The IAS officers will be on hawk’s eye to get to grips with the outbreak in 3 zones of the city as follows:

SKLohani-Saswat Mishra: SE Zone

Ashok Meena-Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma: SW Zone

Ranjana Chopra-Bishnupada Sethi: North Zone
