Cow KhandagiriBhubaneswar, April 27: The Khandagiri Police have achieved a major breakthrough today, as they seized six trucks and rescued 300 cows being illegally transported for slaughter.

The drivers of the trucks fled the spot after they knew about police blockade. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab the drivers and the middlemen.

It was a part of major cattle traffic racket, which was going on for years. Earlier, local residents and RSS/VHP/Bajrang Dal outfits used to unearth such rackets in the capital city and Cuttack region. However, this time the police got the clue and seized the trucks.
