7-day Police Remand for Chhatrapur Murder Accused

Insight News Desk: The “key conspirators” in Chhatrapur NAC Councillor Laxmidutta Pradhan murder case, Krushna Chandra Nayak and Duryodhan Reddy have been sent to 7-day police remand by the Berhampur SDJM court.

The duo were arrested by the Ganjam police from Uttarakhand. They were in hiding ever since the murder took place even as 13 other accused were earlier arrested by the cops.

Krushna Chandra Nayak, a former CPI leader, had joined the BJP on May 20, 2017 in the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
