70-feet Water Tank collapses in Rourkela

ONI Bureau:  A 70-feet-high water tank built by the Public Health Department at Civil Township in Odisha’s Rourkela city collapsed today.

Under impact of the collapse, the Western Electricity Supply Company of Odisha (WESCO) office was severely damaged.

Locals alleged that the 50,000 litre-capacity water tank which was built with a purpose of supplying drinking water in Civil Township area, reportedly built around 30 years ago and was in unsafe condition and not maintained properly.
