70,000 Siksha Sahayaks go on mass leave from today

ONI Bureau:  As many as 70,000 Siksha Sahayaks across Odisha has gone on mass leave from Monday demanding fee hike, regularization of jobs and death benefits.

They alleged that the State Government has been making promises to fulfill their demands since long but has not done anything.

The strike of Siksha Sahayaks is likely to affect teaching process in schools as annual exams are scheduled to begin from March 16 and the teachers will continue the agitation till the government fulfills their demands.
