9 killed, several critical in Gajapati Truck mishap

ONI Bureau: At least nine persons died and seven others sustained critical injuries after a brick-laden truck in which nearly 16 labourers were travelling, overturned near Luhajhar ghati in Gumma block of Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district at around 11 am on Tuesday.

As per the report, five persons died on the spot while the injured ones were rushed to the Paralakhemundi District Headquarters Hospital. However, four of them succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.
