A N Sahay lays Foundation Stone for Heart Hospital in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda, Nov 2: A N Sahay, retiring Chairman and Managing Director of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) laid foundation stone for Super Specialty Heart Hospital at Malimunda in Jharsuguda on Sunday. Sahay handed over a cheque worth Rs 12 crore to Sub-Collector BN Dhal.

Speaking on the occasion, Sahay expressed his thanks to the general public and others for their cooperation for the development projects undertaken by MCL. He added that the company is poised to become not just the country’s but also the world’s biggest in terms of Coal Production, with a production target of 250 million ton which it is most likely to achieve.

Jharsuguda MLA Naba Kishore Das expressed his gratitude to MCL for helping in construction of a heart hospital at Jharsuguda by giving 12 crores initially.

Bargarh MP Dr Pravas Singh, Brajrajnagar MLA Radharani Panda, District Collector Parameswaran B, MCL Director Finance K.K. Parida, Director Personnel PC Panigrahi,  Jharsuguda Municipality Chairman Harish Ganatra and other dignitaries were present on occasion.
