Aaradhya Charitable Trust celebrates Annual Function with Fervor

ONI Bureau: Bhubaneswar based social organization Aaradhya Charitable Trust celebrated its annual function at the IDCOL Auditorium in the capital city on Jaunary 7, 2018. Member of Parliament Sri Prasanna Patasani, Sri Laxmi Narayana Nanda from UNICEF India, social activists Prasanna Parida and Jigyasu Panda graced the occasion as honourable guests.

The meeting was followed by cultural programme. In his speech Patsani mentioned service to mankind is service to God. The dignitaries praised the trust for its outstanding work like Free Coaching Centre at Jharigam in Nabarangpur district..

In the cultural programme Guru Nityananda performed dance recital ‘Pangu langhayate giri’. The audience get mesmerized with the Odissi dance performance that the dancer performed on one leg. Singer Tansen Singh enchanted the audience with his ever lasting songs like ‘Jhumka tike tuta halei de’, ‘Mu je eka pagala bhanra’. Another singer Rasmita Das also performed. Odiya film comedian Ravi Kumar also performed in the programme and and earned wide applause.

The show was conducted by Sagarika Satapathy, Managing Trustee of Aaradhya Charitable Trust while settler of the Trust Hemant Pande offered the vote of thanks. The show was witnessed by hundreds of people.

Aaradhya Charitable Trust was formed in 2014 and since then organizing different voluntary works for the upliftment of the society. The organization organizes free health camps, distributes clothes to the slum dwellers and homeless people in winter. The Trust also distributes free food, water and gifts to children in many special days and festivals.

ACT is also running a free coaching centre at Jharigam village in the tribal dominated Nabarangpur district to educate the needy children on regular basis. Satapathy intimated that now about 50 students are getting additional education in the Centre.
