Abhijit Ayer Row: House Panel summons DGP, Intelligence Director, 2 Media Houses

ONI Bureau:  The House Committee to inquire into Abhijit Iyer Mitra’s anti-Odisha remarks on Saturday summoned four persons to investigate into the matter.

Speaking to media after the meeting, chairmanship of leader of opposition Narasingh Mishra said that the committee has issued summon notices to the Director General of Police, Intelligence Director and editors of two media hoses. They will present their stands before the house committee on September 28 reportedly.

The Odisha House Committee is comprised of Leader of Opposition (LoP) Narasingha Mishra (chairman of the committee), BJD legislators Sanjay Dasburma, Debi Prasad Mishra, Pramila Mallick, Arun Sahoo and BJP Legislature Party leader K V Singhdeo.
