Abinash Paital Custodial Death: Protests continue in Kendrapara

ONI Bureau: Protests continue in Mahakalpada over the custodial death of Abinash Paital, a mobile theft accused in custody at Mahakalpada Police Station in Kendrapara.

Family members accompanied by hundreds of villagers sit on indefinite hunger strike in front of Collector office seeking immediate arrest of suspended Mahakalapada Inspector In-Charge (IIC) Shyamaghana Behera.  Family members also alleged that its a murder. The agitation entered day nine today.

Earlier, Director-general of police Rajendra Prasad Sharma had suspended Shyamaghana Behera for his utter negligence of duty.
