Actor Ashrumochan, Director Sudhakar Basanth join BJP

On the auspicious day of 152nd Birth Anniversary today, several key people in Odisha have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). They include Odia Actor Ashrumochan Mohanty, Director Sudhakar Basanth and youth leaders Debabrata Barik, Niranjan Barik and Bijay Biswal.

Apart from these leaders, several other youth members joined the BJP in the presence of senior party leaders Prasanna Mishra, Bijoy Mohapatra, Prithviraj Harichandan, Sameer Mohanty, Dillip Mohanty, Amiya Das, Jagannath Pradhan. Ashrumochan Mohanty has a huge fan following in Odisha. He may give a tremendous boost to the BJP’s membership drive in Odisha.

Leaders in charge of membership drive in Bhubaneswar, Harekrushna Khuntia and Sushant Jena were also present on the occasion. BJP General Secretary Prasanna Mishra welcomed the new members by making them accepting the membership through mobile phone. The new members took the oath to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and revealed that they were inspired by the great leader of the country.
