After Jagannath Temple, Lingaraj Temple Also Requests For Withdrawal of NMA Heritage By-Laws

Days after the National Monuments Authority (NMA) withdrew the controversial heritage by-laws, the Shree Lingaraj Temple Committee in Bhubaneswar has written a letter to the authority to withdraw the by-laws for the Lingaraj and the Brahmeswar temple.

The letter written by the Khurda Collector-cum-President of the temple board was sent to Member Secretary of the NMA.

The letter stated that the Odisha Government had acquired lands and properties for strengthening safety and security of the centuries old shrine under the Ekamra Development plan.
