Anganwadi workers, helpers stage demonstrations

Over Ten Thousand Anganwadi Workers & Helpers of Nikhila Odisha Anganwadi Karmi Sangha led by AITUC Staged a Militant Demonstration before Odisha Satate Assembly while the State Capitals Temperature has gone above 41 Degree Celcious.

Sixteen Point Demands includes Rs.15Thosand Per Month as Allowance, SNP at Market Price, Withdraw disengagement from Job at 60Years or Pension on 60 Years at the Rate of Minimum Rd.3Thousand Rupees Per Month, Gatuity, 100% Promotion to the Post of Supervisors, ANM& Teachers from among Anganwadi Karyakartries, State Govt to Pay Equal share of Allowances, Declare Anganwadi Karyakartries as Govt Employees etc.

A seven Member Team of Delegation headed by Bijay Kumar Jena Submitted Memoradum before Honorable Minister WCD Mrs Usha Devee. The Minister assured the Delegation to take care ofDemands in consultation with the Secretary WED & Finance within Next 15 Days.
