ARSS Chief Subash Agarwal arrested for attack on Railway Official

Subash Agarwal, chairman and founder of ARSS Infrastructure Projects Ltd, was arrested for allegedly engaged goons to attack Ajay Kumar, Joint General Manager of Projects at Rail Vikash Nigam Limited (RVNL) two days ago. The officer escaped unhurt. The miscreants who fired at his vehicle, are still at large.

Ajay Kumar, who was probing the irregularities in Sukinda-Anugul Railway project, had imposed a fine of Rs 25 lakh on Ghaziabad-based Woodhill-Hillway, which sublet the contract to ARSS. Subash Agarwal had an heated argument with Ajay Kumar a few months ago, following which another Rs 3,30,000 penalty was imposed on ARSS Infrastructure on May 21.

Subash Agarwal has denied all charges and claimed that there has been a conspiracy to frame him.
