Bahuda Jatra: Chariots pulling to begin from Gundicha to Srimandir

ONI Bureau:  Bahuda Jatra, the homecoming of the Trinity from Gundicha Temple to Srimandir on their chariots will be started as per the schedule today.

As per the schedule, Bahuda Pahandi will be held between 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM. Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb arrived to perform ‘Chhera Panhara’ rituals as Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath and Devi Subhadra were being brought to their chariots. Chariots pulling will be held at 4 pm today.

Lakhs of devotees thronged the temple city of Puri from across the country and abroad today to witness the Bahuda Jatra.
