Barabati Stadium to regain its Test status after 21 years

Odisha Cricket Association Secretary Asirbad Behera on Tuesday announced that the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack is likely to regain its Test status after 21 long years.

After the bottle throwing incident at Barabati, the State Cricket body had to face lot of criticisms. Behera said that, the security arrangements will be very strict, while  water bottles will not be allowed in any cost.

Notably, the last Test match held at Cuttack was between India and New Zealand in November, 1995.
