Baramunda Bus stand to be renovated, Inter-State Bus Terminal at Gopalpur soon

ONI Bureau:  An Inter-State Bus Terminal with a parking capacity of 1,000 buses will be constructed at Gopalpur near Cuttack at a cost of Rs 500 crore, Commerce and Transport Minister Nrusingha Charan Sahu informed Wednesday. 40 acres of land to be acquired for the proposed bus stand at Gopalpur Mouza near Kathjodi river bank.

Likewise, Odisha Government has also decided to renovate the existing Baramunda bus-stand in Bhubaneswar into an ultra-modern inter-state bus terminal at an investment of Rs 180 crore and the work has been scheduled to be completed in 15 months time.
