Beyond Duty: BSF Jawans help pregnant woman reach hospital in Malkangiri Dist

ONI Bureau:  Beyond the duty, in a rare display of humanity, a team of Border Security Force (BSF) jawans on Thursday helped a pregnant woman to reach hospital from Badapoda a ‘cut-off’ area of Malkangiri district.

Worth mentioning, the 21-year-old woman Pramila Khora complained of labour pain on Thursday but could not be rushed to the hospital due to lack of ambulance facility in the cut-off’ area.

The jawans who had gone for a routine patrolling, spotted and rescued her along with her relatives. Later they shifted her to the Chitrakonda hospital for treatment.
