Bhadrak Double Murder, Rape: Accused arrested, confesses to his crime

ONI Bureau: A day after the sensational rape and murder incident at Talasitha village in Bhadrak district, the body of Rabindra Behuria, father of the victim girl recovered by the district police from Kalatira canal in Dhamnagar today.

However, the main accused Gopinath Mohanty alias Babua has been arrested by the police from Chandrasekharpur area in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

The accused has confessed to police that he committed the crime, did the sensational double murder and rape to take revenge, as they used to harass his mother.

Police said Babua has been adopted as a foster son by the couple for the past ten years.
