Bhasha Andolan: Black Flag March enters Day 300

The ongoing Bhasha Andolan in Odisha took a giant leap forward, as its Black Flag March entered Day 300 today. Chairman Subhas Chandra Pattanayak, President Pradyumna Satpathy and founder members Tusarkanta Satapathy and Sagar Satapathy took part in the march.

Bhasha Andolan Convenor Pabitra Maharatha took part in a panel discussion on News7 TV while the Live Telecast was on. Bhasha Andolan is demanding for penal provision in the Odisha Official Language Act to ensure proper implementation of Governance of Odisha in Odia.

Bhasha Andolan slammed the indifference and apathetic attitude of the state government and vowed to continue the agitation till it meets a logical conclusion.

Apart from the above Members, several eminent personalities including Asit Mohanty, Dr. Asit Das, Nirmal Behera, Arya Kumar Gyanendra, Naba Pradhan, Ruturaj Pattnaik, Natabar Khuntia, Chakradhar Mohanta, Sarada Parida, Abdul Kalam Azad, Amaresh Biswal, Ajay Jena, Govind Satapathy, Govind Mahunta, Abdul Kalam Azad were also present at today’s event.
