Bhasha Andolan Day 26: Women Personalities join Protest March

08 aThe Bhasha Andolan, Odisha, which started its movement on 13th April, seeking governance of Odisha in Odia language as per the 1954 Language Act, has entered 27th Day today. But, the government has not so far responded to the demands of the activists.

Rakesh Kumar Sahoo, who has a great desire to participate in Bhasa Andolan finally achieved his goal yesterday. He reached to Bhubaneswar from Pani Koili, Jajpur by cycling long 120 km. In the other hand, on the occasion of Womens Day, eminent women personalities took part in the silent black flag march.

Their march started from Odisha Assembly and continued till Madhu Babu’s statue at the Governor’s Square.
