Bhubaneswar lone Indian City among World’s Top 20 Smart Cities

ONI Bureau:  After topped the list of 20 Smart Cities followed by Pune and Jaipur in 2016, Bhubaneswar has now being ranked in the Top 20 “Best Performing Smart Cities’’, globally, by Juniper Research, an England-based research and consulting organisation.

Meantime, Singapore has emerged top in a global smart city performance ranking in 2017 released on Monday.

Besides Bhubaneswar and Singapore, other cities including San Francisco, London, New York, Barcelona, Berlin, Chicago, Portland, Tokyo, Melbourne, San Diego, Seoul, Nice, Dubai, Mexico City, Wuxi, Rio de Janeiro, Yinchuan and Hangzhou have come under the “Global Smart City Performance Index 2017’’ .
