Bhubaneswar to be completely Wi-Fi enabled before Men’s Hockey World Cup

ONI Bureau:  As Odisha will host the Men’s Hockey World Cup – 2018 at Kalinga Stadium between November 28 and December 16, the Smart City Bhubaneswar will be made completely Wi-Fi enabled before start of the mega event, informed Mayor Ananta Jena on ‘Swayat Shasan Dibas’ (Local Self Governance Day) today.

Around 1,800 Wi-Fi fiber access points would be set up by connecting every area of the capital city by fiber optic network to streamline the internet facility, added Jena.

Besides, as many as 100 more city buses to be rolled out in the Capital City while, walls will be painted across 80-km stretch in and around the city before the commencement of the Men’s Hockey World Cup, informed Jena.
