Bijoy Mohapatra seeks CBI Probe into Sarathi Baba Controversy

BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra​ has demanded immediate arrest of Sarathi Baba. He also sought sealing of his Ashram and freezing of bank accounts owned by Sarathi Baba’s Ashram and related organisations. “Only a CBI probe can find out the truth behind Baba’s illegal empire and misdeeds”, he added.

Bijoy Mohapatra sought to draw the attention to some reports, which hinted Sarathi Baba’s involvement in land fraud, chit fund scam and investment in Ollywood movies. He also slammed the Kendrapara SP for use of force on common people, who are protesting against Sarathi.

Kendrapara District BJP Vice President has been arrested during the protests over police excess against people. Many BJP cadres were also beaten up during the demonstration today when the protesters turned violent. The Congress Party will also send a delegation to Kendrapara to get a detailed report on police action on common people.
