Biju Patnaik Airport Bhubaneswar to offer Wi-Fi from June 1

Bhubaneswar, May 14: Good news for the travellers,  as they are going to get 24-hours Wi-Fi internet connectivity at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubneswar from June 1. According to Airport officials, Wi-Fi infrastructure has been provided by Bharti Infratel. And the service will be started by next 10-15 days as a trial, and then it will be available regular 24 hours for travellers at Airport.

According to sources, the service has been stated with an outlay of Rs 20 lack to provide internet facility at Airport. Around 800 users can access the internet simultaneously with speed of 10 Mbps. Users need to provide their mobile number, to which they get a password to access the Wi-Fi. It is noteworthy that, users will be getting free internet access for 15 minutes. Beyond the free time of 15 minutes, users need to pay for the service which will be decided by the authorities soon.
