BJD activists stage demonstration over Shoe Attack on CM

ONI Bureau:  Protesting shoes attack on Odisha Chief Minister Naveen at a public meeting at Kumbhari in Barpali on Tuesday and blaming BJP for planning the attack and inciting violence, the BJD activists staged peaceful demonstration near Mahatma Gandhi’s statue at Gandhi Park near Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar today.

Reportedly, irate members of the Youth & Students wing of Paradip’s BJD unit have burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan over the shoes attack.

However, BJD supremo arrived at Gaisilat amid tight security on his final day campaign for Bijepur Bypoll and spoke to the gathering in Odia directly without using any microphone.
