BJD-BJP play Fixed Match over Mahanadi: Narasingha Mishra

ONI Bureau: Veteran Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Narasingha Mishra lashed out at the centre calling it ‘shameless’ on the issue of Mahanadi river water dispute.

The Congress leader also criticised the BJD Government in Odisha for ‘failing’ to protect the interest of the state. He termed the debate on Mahanadi in the Parliament as a “fixed match” between BJD and BJP saying both parties were arguing in a friendly manner.

“Why didn’t BJD bring a privilege motion against Nitin Gadkari for misleading the House,” asks Narasingha Mishra, saying neither BJD nor BJP is interested to protect Odisha’s interest on the issue of Mahanadi.
