BJD MP Jay Panda receives threat not to attend Mahakalapada Event

In a shocking revealation, BJD MP from Kendrapara, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda tweeted that he has received threat message from the associates of his party colleague and a powerful leader from Kendrapara not to attend today’s event at Mahakalapada, which would be addressed by CM Naveen Patnaik.

In a series of tweets, Panda refused to get intimidated by the “goons” of his colleague, who recently resigned as a Minister on “moral grounds”, saying it would be for the police whether they can ensure law and order or not.

“Associates of a colleague who recently “resigned on moral grounds” threatening me against participation today in a Mahakalpada event w/CM”

“[2/2] but I’m not afraid of goondas. it is the job of police to control them. I’ll go today & continue my 10+ days/month in constituency”.

“Getting msgs police wd rather i didn’t attend Mahakalpada event w/CM. But I’m going. Let them arrest goons or cancel event if no law/order”.

The obvious reference was made to Mahakalapada MLA Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, who was forced to resign as the Health Minister on Sum Hospital issue. Some political pundits and supporters of Nayak believe that Jay Panda was behind the outrage, which forced him to quit. However, there are no evidences to corrborate their allegations.
