BJD stages demonstration near Raj Bhawan over Fuel Price Hike

ONI Bureau:  Protesting against skyrocketing of fuel prices and LPG, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today staged a demonstration near Raj Bhawan, Odisha Governor’s residence in Bhubaneswar.

The members of Biju Yuva Janata Dal, Biju Chhatra Janata Dal, and Biju Mahila Janata Dal, demanded immediate reduction in petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Addressing to the President of India, a delegation of the ruling BJD submitted a memorandum to the Governor Ganeshi Lal.

The party members including Senior BJD leader and Brahmagiri MLA Sanjay Das Burma and party general secretary Arun Sahoo aalso threatened to intensify their protest in all 314 blocks of Odisha against the BJP-ruled Central Government if their demands are not met.
