BJP Activists stage protest against Naveen Govt near Raj Bhawan

BJP leaders and workers would hold a protest near Raj Bhavan today. Party leaders submitted a memorandum to the Governor against BJD government’s failure to provide security to the Union Ministers at Bargarh.

State BJP claimed that, the attack on two Union Ministers Shri Santosh Gangwar and Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti at Bargarh had been done knowingly and it was pre-planned on June 24. The party had staged a state-wide demonstration on June 29 in Bargarh accusing the state government who failed to take action against the culprits.

According to sources, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) to submit the report within 60 days.

A delegation from BJP is expected to meet president to apprise him regrading the violence perpetrated by BJD workers at Bargarh.
