BJP alleges Nexus between scam accused Doctor and BJD Leaders

Motilal Gouda with BJD leeadersThe state unit of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha leveled serious charges against ruling BJD party as some its young MLAs were found sharing lighter moments with a scam accused doctor in various photographs.

BJP spokes person Sajjan Sharma , while addressing a press conference on Monday, said,  “The suspended Assistant Director of Factories & Boilers (Medical) Dr Motilal Gouda seen with Law Minister Arun Sahu, MLAs Pranab Balabantaray, Byomkesh Ray, Anubhav Patnaik has been enjoying the protection of these leaders.”

“The accused doctor might have dared to fabricate the Government Gazette with the support of Ministers and BJD MLAs”, he alleged.

It is to be noted that Dr Motilal Gouda was suspended from the post of Assistant Director of Factories & Boilers (Medical) for allegedly fabricating the Government gazette, issuing a fake notification to the industrial houses in the state and receiving over Rs 1 crore as kickback.

Gouda had issued a fake notification dated October 16, 2015 having the empanelment list of five pathological laboratories and hospitals for pre-medical examination of employees and workers, including contractual. Further, the accused doctor sent e-mails to industries from his personal ID.

While the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik commands huge respect and affection from the people of the state for his corrupt- free image, the young party leaders have been under scanner in last few weeks for their alleged involvement in various scams like chit fund scam, ration card scam among others.
