The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is upbeat about the upcoming visit of its National President Amit Shah to Odisha on January 6-7, has announced its plans to launch a ‘Mahasangram’ or ‘Big Fight’ against the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government in the state and highlight the issues that have gripped the state.
The ‘Mahasangram’ will be launched on the day when Amit Shah arrives in the state on January 6. The main goal of the BJP to highlight the issues of chit fund scam, land scam, mining scam, women’s safety, farmers’ suicide etc.
The BJP leaders alleged that Naveen Patnaik has failed as a leader of the state and his party leaders and cadres are involved in many scams and scandals in the state. Senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra, BJP’s Odisha Unit President KV Singhdeo, BJP Spokesperson Sajjan Sharma and Youth BJPP leader Bhrigu Bakshipatra were present at the press meet.
