BJP files FIR against 2 Ministers, MLA; calls for Boudh Bandh

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Odisha has gone aggressive on the issue of assault on its workers by the BJD leaders at Manamunda in Boudh district. The party has not only filed FIR against 2 Ministers, 1 MLA and a Corporator, but also called for a 12-hour Boudh bandh tomorrow.

The BJD leaders mentioned in the FIR include Pushpendra Singhdeo, Sanjay Dasburma, MLA Prashant Jagdev and Corporator Amaresh Jena and Youth BJD Vice President Bijaya Nayak. It’s an irony that hooligans from the BJD were let off, while the BJP workers, who were beaten up, were detained by the police for hours.

The BJP legislature party committee led by KV Singhdeo will visit the spot at Manamunda tomorrow. the party has strongly condemned the incident, as the BJD workers led by the MLA were caught on camera thrashing the BJP workers, who were holding black flag protest against the visiting Ministers.
