BJP leader Jayanarayan Mishra arrested in Banabira Firing case

ONI Bureau:  Sohela Police on Thursday arrested BJP leader and former Minister Jayanarayan Mishra in connection with Banabira firing case that left one dead.

A police team led by Padampur SDPO Laxmi Narayan Panda raided Mishra’s house and took him under custody for further questioning. However, Jayanarayan termed his detention as Political conspiracy. 

It is to be noted that one of the four persons, Dileswar Sahu, the driver of Odisha Labour Minister Sushant Singh’s brother who received injuries in the attack on February 22 night has died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Cuttack on February 24.
