BJP Leader Pitambar Acharya calls Naveen ‘Mahakala Phala’

ONI Bureau: Soon after BJP Spokesperson Pitambar Acharya’s press meet slamming the ‘Aadarsh Mukhyamantri Puraskar’ received by Naveen Patnaik as “purchased” and “sponsored”, BJD Spokesperson Pratap Deb hit back saying he should resign from his post if he is unable to understand the process.

“The Jury for this award, included veteran BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, BJP’s National Vice President Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, renowned journalist Mark Tully, former CEC TN Seshan and Mahatma Gandhi’s great grandson Tushar Gandhi. Pitmabar Acharya should have called them up before making such an irresponsible statement,” he said.

Earlier, Pitambar Acharya had lashed out at BJD Govt and Naveen Patnaik, saying the CM is busy collecting awards for his Drawing Room while Odisha is struggling in unemployment, education, healthcare, industry etc. “Where is the development? How the CM is chosen for such an award. He is just collecting awards to boost the morale of his party cadres,” he claimed.

Pitambar Acharya also hit out at the CMO office in 3rd Floor, saying it is involved in several scams and corruption. He compared Naveen Patnaik to ‘Mahakala Phala’, which looks great from outside, but inside it has burnt charcoal. People of Odisha have been patronising a ‘Mahakala Phala’ for long, as they are not aware what it has inside.
