BJP Mahila Morcha ransacks State Women’s Commission Office

ONI Bureau: The BJP Mahila Morcha in Odisha barged into the State Women’s Commission office in Bhubaneswar and vandalised the properties, demanding the investigation report in connection with Kunduli case.

Accusing the Mahila Commission led by Lopamudra Baxipatra of acting at the behest of ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and failing to protect the interest of women in the state, they not only damaged the furniture, but also tore down files and photos before putting bangles at the office.

While they were involved in a scuffle with the cops, no injuries or untoward incidents were reported.
