BJP observes 12 hour Bhubaneswar Bandh today

BJP observed a day-long bandh today in Bhubaneswar demanding the probe into the video tape alleged featuring BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and link in murder of engineering student Asutosh Mohanty alias Rishi.

The strike started from 6 am and will continue till 6 pm today. BJP workers burnt tyres at various places in the city which leads to much inconvenience to common man.

Some BJP activists were taken into custody by cops while they were trying to ransack city buses at Master Canteen.

Many commuters were stranded at various bus stations in the district due to ceased vehicular movement and  students were unable to reach schools as school buses remained off the road.
