Odisha BJP President Basant Panda on Monday informed that the party is going to conduct State-wide protest on Tuesday over disrespect to women by the cops in Chief Minister’s rally on Sunday.
State BJP will stage demonstration in all 314 Block offices and civic bodies across the state tomorrow.
Briefing newsmen at a press meet today, Basant Panda said Chief Minister should apologise for this shameful incident and punish those involved in it.
It is to be noted that the police personnel who were in charge of security for CM rally at Mangaspur in Sundargarh district yesterday forced women to remove their black stoles, shawls before entry to a public meeting addressed by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday. Even, some women wearing black saree were denied entry to the public meeting.
