Block Grant Teachers threaten to boycott Matric answer sheet evaluation

ONI Bureau:  The All Odisha School College Teachers’ and Employees’ United Forum on Monday staged dharna in front of different evaluation centres protesting the State Government’s step-motherly attitude towards them.

All Block Grant teachers staged dharna in front of 46 evaluation centres across Odisha as State Government is not yet fulfill promises made on affidavit submission.

However, they have threaten to boycott the evaluation of Matriculation answer sheets protesting the alleged delay in publishing a notification of withdrawal of compulsory affidavit clause.

Earlier, the State Government clarified that the teachers covered under the newly-framed Grant-in-aid (GIA) Policy-2017 will not have to submit affidavit as sought earlier but the officials are declining to follow the directive.
