Block Grant Teachers to observe September 5 as ‘Black Day’

ONI Bureau: The agitating block grant teachers on Saturday announced to observe the Teachers’ Day on September 5 as ‘Black Day’.

Teachers of Odisha School College Teachers’ and Employees’ United Forum also announced to lock up schools & colleges across State from September 6 to put pressure on Odisha Government to fulfill their demands.

Worth mentioning, the block grant teachers are on an indefinite strike at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar since August 16 demanding abolition of block grant system.
