Boat Capsizes in Chilika, 4 Dead

At least four persons were killed and 22 others injured in Boat Capsize in Chilika on Saturday morning.

As many as 29 passengers were travelling from Sabulia to Ghantasila for a picnic. So far 22 passengers were rescued by locals while others are still missing.

The rescued passengers were admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Rambha and Khallikote hospitals in Berhampur for further treatment.

Odisha State Disaster Management Authority teams including Fire brigade, 108 ambulances, 102 ambulance are engaged in rescue work.
