Bomb hurled in Ramadevi Women’s University Campus

Bhubaneswar, Oct 6: Tension prevailed at Ramadevi Women’s University on today afternoon after a low intensity bomb went off. Saheed Nagar Police rushed to campus and started investigating into the bombing incident.

It is noteworthy, the students’ union election are being conducted at the university. The bomb went off at the hostel build of the university. The bomb went off after the final list of candidates was published and students were gathered at the notice board looking at the final list. However, there were no reports any casualty or damage to building. Students said that some miscreants could have done this to stall ongoing students’ unions elections. Earlier such incident was occurred at BJB College in the capital.
