Budget Session of Odisha Legislative Assembly to start from tomorrow

ONI Bureau:  The Budget session of Odisha Assembly for the financial year 2018-19 is scheduled to begin tomorrow with Governor S C Jamir’s address.

While the first phase will continue from March 20 to March 31, the second phase will start from April 11 and the session is scheduled to conclude on May 5.

Finance Minister Shashi Bhushan Behera will present the Annual Budget for the year 2018-19 on March 23.

In this regard, the BJD, BJP and Congress legislature parties will meet today to chalk out strategy for Budget session.
