Campaign Ends For Balasore & Tirtol By-poll

With 48 hours to go for the polls, The tampaign for Balasore and Tirtol by-poll ended on Sunday. The elections on the two seats will be held on November 3.

In Jagatsinghpur district, there are a total of 373 polling booths out of which 155 is sensitive. In Balasore, the 346 booths have been divided into two groups.

Since the elections are being conducted at the time of pandemic, the Election Commission is ensuring proper safety guidelines during the election process.

A proper sanitisation drive will be carried out in all the polling booths before voting. The polling staff will be provided with face masks and glove. All voters will be subjected to temperature checks before entering the polling booth to cast their vote.
