Capacity of HAL in Odisha’s Sunabeda to double in next 4 years, says Parrikar

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday attended BJP ‘Vikash Utsav’ at Cuttack organised by the BJP to mark two years of Modi led NDA government at the Centre.

Manohar Parrikar on Sunday said to newsmen that the capacity of engine division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at Sunabeda in Koraput district will be doubled in next four years.

Criticising  the terrorist attack, Defence Minister said the terrorist attack on a CRPF bus near Pampore in Jammu and Kashmir on saturday is an act of frustration.

Regarding the incident of attack over the Union Ministers in Bargarh, Parrikar said that Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is insecure. Parrikar also highlighted several central welfare programmes initiated for the benefit of the people.

Parrikar met ex-servicemen and Defence Ministry officials and met his former teacher Prof Prashant Kumar Patnaik in Bhubaneswar, who taught him at the IIT, Mumbai.
