Case registered against Santanu Patra’s Wife & her Lover

Insight Bureau:  A few days after Santanu Patra of Puri district committed suicide over his wife’s alleged extramarital affair after posting a video on a the Facebook in this regard, Puri Sadar Police on Monday registered case against deceased Patra’s wife and her alleged lover Amaresh Swain under IPC Sections 306, 506, 34.

They were brought under the purview of the investigation for questioning as per the unnatural death case has registered by deceased’s mother.

Earlier, Santanu’s wife has defended herself saying in a video that she was not involved in such an affair but her marriage was only fixed with Amaresh Swain.
