CBI arrests Odia Officer of PNB in connection with Nirav Modi Scam

ONI Bureau:  An Odia man who was working as the Internal Chief Auditor of the Punjab National Bank (PNB), Mumbai was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on in connection with the Nirav Modi scam.

According to sources, Bishubrata Mishra, a native of Keonjhar was involved with the Rs-11,400 crore fraud involving diamond merchants Nirav Modi. Reportedly, Mishra was responsible for auditing procedures followed in the PNB branch from year 2011 to 2015.

He has been taken into CBI custody till March 14. The CBI questioned 13 people in the PNB Fraud case.
