CBI fails; Supreme Court closes Itishree Murder Case

Insight Bureau:  Itishree Murder case was closed by the Supreme Court on Friday as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) remained clueless and failed to identify the main accused.

It is to be noted that Itishree Pradhan, a lady Teacher at Tikiri Primary School in Rayagada district, was set ablaze by some miscreants on night of October 27 in 2013. She sustained severe burn injuries and later succumbed in Visakhapatnam (Vizag).

In this regard, Supreme Court asked the CBI to probe the incident.

However, CBI on Friday submitted the final report on the sensational lady teacher murder case  in the Supreme Court.
