Chhada Khai People Throng Fish Market

People were seen flocking the fish market on the occasion of Chhada Khai today. With the holy month of Kartik having coming to an end on Tuesday, the market places across Odisha seemed to be overcrowded.

People were seen at fish, chicken and mutton outlets to relish non-vegetarian foods after abstaining for one long month.

Shopkeepers of Unit-4 Market in Bhubaneswar had ordered mutton from Kolkata besides Udala, Jashipur, Soro, and Baghamari in the State to meet the increasing demand.

The prices are quite higher than the regular days but it will not prevent people from enjoying non-veg delicacies.

Coincidently, this year Chhada Khai has fallen on a Wednesday.
